Tun Dr. Mahathir was born on Friday the date of December 20, 1925. A Prince of Mohamad bin Iskandar and Wan Wan Hanafi Tempawan daughter was born in house number 18, Lorong Kilang Ais, adjacent Jalan Pegawai, Seberang Perak, Alor Setar, Kedah, he is the youngest among nine siblings. he grew up on the "poor side of the river" that bisected the town of Alor Star, in northern Malaysia. In 1953, he was awarded a Doctor of Medicine (MBBS) from the University Malaya. Armed with the approval of Dr Mahathir has started its services in the government with the trainee at the Penang General Hospital.
